Choose one of the following topics:

1. What do the works you have read this semester indicate about the causes people become perpetrators?
2. What do the works you have read this semester indicate ways in which people respond to and try to cope with having been victims of crimes?
3. How can crime be used in literature to introduce ethical concerns in order to draw attention to social issues?
4. You may write on another topic of your choosing, but you need to clear topics with me and you have to refer to the course texts. Just send me a description and I’ll let you know if your topic will work for the assignment.
