Write a 10- to 18-page business plan (2500 to 4500 words), I set the target at about 3,500 words – in the middle, not including a list of references, in APA format. Use the headings in the instructions below when completing the business plan. Use at least ten references in this paper. Three of the sources must be scholarly peer-reviewed journal articles, three references can be white papers published by professional organizations (e.g., SHRM), and four can be industry information from organizations or government agencies. No blogs, wikis, or news websites will be accepted. Use feedback from the discussion forum to help enhance the areas of your plan.

Business Information [maximum 1 page]
• Include the name of your consulting company (this can just be your name), a brand statement, mission/purpose,
and the focus of your company (Sole proprietor. Mission and service of this company = Leadership development
consultants. Professionals who help organizations to improve their leadership skills and practices).
Market [maximum 5 pages]
• Describe your market niche. What characteristics do those in this niche share? What is the target market size?
How will you market to your target market, and what types of marketing tools do you need to use? Consider
social media, websites, and so forth.
Explanation of Products and Services [maximum 4 pages]
• Create a heading for each unique product or service and describe how each product/service would be of use to
your market niche.
Revenue Model [maximum 2 pages]
• Think through and outline how you want to work with clients on pricing. How do you plan to make money?
Will you have subscription services? Will you charge by the hour or the project? How much work could you
handle in a week, month, year?
Financial Forecast [maximum 1 page]
• Estimate the start-up costs for the company, including fixed and variable costs. Forecast the costs for the first

Current Team [maximum 2 pages]
• Identify the team members (this may just be you). You can create a table for team members (include name, credentials, expertise relative to the consulting focus). If you plan on contracting out work, explain how you will manage that part of your business.
Competition [maximum 2 pages]
• Identify at least two competitors for your market niche. What makes them unique? How will you compete with that unique factor?
