Correlation between Ideology and Artistry

Choose one writing (or more than one if related) in the time period of 1900-45 in the Art in Theory textbook and consider it in relation to an artist, movement, or theoretical idea. Artists should be those discussed in your textbook (or closely related) who were active during the period 1900-45, preferably in the latter part of it.
