Research the background of your Congressional representatives based on your address listed with CU – two senators and a member of the House of Representatives. Find out about their previous occupation(s), political experience, family, income, education, and other relevant demographics. What percentage of the vote did they receive to win in their last election? What are two policy issues areas they are interested in? How do these areas reflect their ideologies?

I live in Colorado, so my Congressional representatives are:
- Sen. Michael Bennet: Bennet is a Democrat who has been in the Senate since 2009. He previously served as the superintendent of Denver Public Schools. Bennet is a graduate of Yale University and the University of Oxford. He is married and has two children.
- Sen. John Hickenlooper: Hickenlooper is a Democrat who has been in the Senate since 2013. He previously served as the governor of Colorado. Hickenlooper is a graduate of the University of Denver and Harvard Business School. He is married and has two children.
- Rep. Jason Crow: Crow is a Democrat who has been in the House of Representatives since 2019. He is a former Army Ranger who served in Iraq and Afghanistan. Crow is a graduate of the University of Colorado Boulder and the University of Denver Sturm College of Law. He is married and has two children.
