Conducting a vulnerability scan

After conducting a vulnerability scan, an organization can identify and remediate the configuration failures in their infrastructure. Once hardened, secured, patched, and in compliance, why is it important to continue conducting vulnerability scans on a periodic basis? Explain what could have changed from previous scans.

Good Morning Class,
Vulnerabilities scans are an important asset to any person or business. You can use these scans to find any potential vulnerabilities or holes in your system and use that information to harden that system to patch that problem up. This doesn’t mean you are in the clear because on a daily basis any little thing that happens on the network can potentially make another vulnerability open. Vulnerability scans should be conducted frequently to ensure that your system is in good standings. Any little thing can change after updates or regular use by users.
