Develop a report on the intersection between their specific theme and global regional dynamics:
Climate change /environmental degradation and loss – biodiversity loss, habitat disruption, air and water pollution
The report will respond to a series of questions (use the region google doc noted above for additional background information).

1. WHAT IS THE CURRENT CONDITION – Define and describe the key issues that characterize the intersection between your specific theme and the global regions. How has this intersection changed in past thirty or so years? How and why does the theme impact some regions more than others? What is the relative importance of external (exogenous) forces as opposed to internal (endogenous) forces on these themes with respect to how they affect the world’s regions? For example, are external forces more significant for directing regional dynamics?
2. WHAT DATA CAN WE USE TO SHOW THE CURRENT CONDITIONS – Scientific analysis and assessment involve the development and presentation of data, whether it be quantitative (e.g., numbers) or qualitative (e.g., descriptions). What data are most useful for illustrating the connections between global themes and varying regions? Why and how is it useful? Present an example of the data that could be used to define and examine the connections (e.g., present a map, a graph, a story board, or otherwise).
3. CHANGE – RATE, DIRECTION Given the trajectory of change, how might the relative importance of this theme increase or decrease in the next twenty years? Why might this (these) change(s) take place – what are the factors behind this (these) change(s).
4. REF – Which five references are valuable to understand the significance of your global theme? Include a bibliography.
