Clastic Diagenesis

There is an intimate relationship between relative sea-level and digenetic processes:
A river-fed clastic system in a humid setting experiences a cycle of relative sea level change from high to low to high, which exposes the entire continental shelf during lowstand. Discuss the likely origin and types of clay minerals deposited in a range of environment during the sea level cycle ( See figure below). Comment on the eogenetic processes and products at key stratigraphic surfaces and systems tract after 1 km, and likely changes in porosity and permeability, at 4 km of burial.
