You are required to select ONE dataset from the below or a dataset of your choice (Subject to
lecturer’s approval). Students are required to address the following questions related to the chosen
dataset.

1. Introduction: Critically appraise Data Visualization and its use in the domain of your chosen
   data. CLO 1 (2 marks)
2. Conduct an in-depth Literature Review by searching for relevant literature for your selected
   dataset. Subsequently analyse your findings. CLO 2( 8 marks) , 3 ( 12 marks)
   a. Dataset 1: Property/Real Estate/Housing using Visualizations
   OR
   b. Dataset 2: Churning/Attrition analysis using Visualizations.
   OR
   c. Your chosen dataset problem using Visualizations.
   Minimum FOUR academic relevant research papers to summarize as part of your literature
   Review. Published between 2016-2021
3. The Data: With reference to your selected dataset: CLO 3 (5 marks)
   a. Critically analyse the metadata and evaluate its importance to the domain.
   b. Justify any pre-processing of the data.
   Note: Pre-processing not limited to, the removal of columns, data type changes etc..
4. Using Tableau, perform exploratory and explanatory analysis of your selected dataset by
   addressing the following questions:
   a. Create FOUR visualizations using at least THREE different visualization types
   CLO 4 (9 marks)
   b. Design ONE dashboard- (USING all FOUR visualizations from Q4a) CLO 4 (6 marks)
   c. With reference to Q4a, critically interpret each visualization by explaining the insights
   they show.
