In Ch. 3, sensation and perception are covered. You are to discuss whether or not sensation and perception
equals reality. In other words, is reality simply a collection of sensory experiences (i.e., seeing, hearing, tasting,
touching, and smelling)? Or is there a reality that transcends the “reality” we perceive with our five senses?
Please give examples to support your claims and explore a Christian understanding of reality. Do Christians
believe in a reality above and beyond perceiving with our senses? Use scripture to support your claims.
