Change management
Change management philosophies are predicated on the notion that employees are resistant to the change process. This can make a leader’s role in the accomplishment of organizational objectives difficult. Consider changes that are relevant to aviation maintenance (technological, regulatory, etc.). Despite barriers to change, safety cannot be compromised. In some instances, the incorporation of the change can enhance safety. In this discussion, identify a current change relevant to the aviation maintenance industry and discuss effective methods for the successful incorporation of the change.
How is safety impacted? What leadership characteristics are necessary to ensure the change is implemented?
