Brochure for preschool families

Brain Foods
Research how proteins, carbohydrates, fats, vitamins, and minerals are related to brain development. Prepare a list of “brain foods,” such as those foods high in Omega-3 and other foods they discover through their research, and prepare a brochure to distribute to family and friends about how nutrition is linked to brain development. Students could also research the importance of water and breast milk on brain development and include that information in their brochures.
