Branching Scenario: Ends and Means

The following activity puts you in the position of the National Security Advisor to POTUS. The National Security Advisor is formally known as the Assistant to the President for National Security Affairs. The decisions that you make will impact the scenario just as decisions made by personnel working in the National Security system will impact the U.S.A.’s homeland safety and security.

A few things to keep in mind while completing the branched scenario:
There are different paths you can take in each scenario, and your fellow students may end up with different outcomes than you.
When you have completed the branched scenario once, please use your first path of choices and the resulting outcome for your Discussion Board postings in this unit.
You are encouraged to play the scenario more than once and to make different choices.
After multiple plays within the branched scenario, use additional paths and choices and the resulting outcomes to assist with your Assignment.
