If not, why? • Explain the book’s context (when was it written, is it timely – is it part of a genre or type of sports book — how does it fit in with the central debates of the day on this topic)? To do the above may require some research. For instance, you may wish to read published (preferably scholarly) book reviews to see what the experts in the field have to say about it.
