Blood Donation Behavior: A Small-Scale Research Study

The topic I chose was about the following.

Donating blood is very important considering the requirement of blood for transfusions every day. People donate blood for several reasons. What are the factors that affect individuals who donate blood? Researchers examined the relationship between several independent variables and the dependent variable. The independent variables included the recency of the last donation (in months), the frequency of donations (total number), the monetary amount of blood donated, and the time since the first donation (in months). These variables were analyzed to predict the dependent variable whether or not an individual donated blood. The study aimed to determine the influence of these predictors on blood donation behavior and provide insights into factors that encourage or deter individuals from donating blood in that specific month.

The independent variables are all continuous.

Research Problem

Conclusions
This section provides a brief discussion of the inferential results as they relate to the research question. This should include the answers to the research question and implications for policy, practice, and/or future research. (10 points)

Purpose and Research Question

– Null Hypothesis (H0): The independent variables do not significantly predict blood donation behavior.
