Behavioral health leadership theory and its applications.

Directions:
Write an abridged, narrative review of the literature (1,750-2,000 words) of behavioral health leadership theory and its applications. Use sources that are no more than three years old or those that are classical or seminal works. Include the following in your review:

  1. A chronological narrative that summarizes, connects, and synthesizes at least five resources that address major theories and models in medical psychology and behavioral health medicine. Highlight similarities, differences, and progressions in thought across the sources and over time. (Benchmarks C9.1: Integrate the major theories and models of medical psychology and behavioral health medicine.)
  2. A chronological narrative that summarizes, connects, and synthesizes at least five resources that address the application of theoretical concepts to behavioral health management. Highlight similarities, differences, and progressions in thought across the sources and over time. (Benchmarks C9.2: Examine the application of theoretical concepts to behavioral health management.)
  3. A chronological narrative that summarizes, connects, and synthesizes at least five resources that address supervisory relationships, practices, and instruments common to the behavioral health setting. Highlight similarities, differences, and progressions in thought across the sources and over time. (Benchmarks C9.3: Analyze supervisory relationships, practices, and instruments common to the behavioral health setting.)
  4. A summary of the key ideas that can be inferred from each set of sources when taken as a whole. What is compelling about these sources? What do these sources mean for the behavioral health consulting field?
