Write a minimum of a one-page summary of an article that is related to the class material covered (most preferably about a scientific publication searched through the Montana Tech Library page). Your summary should explain the major goal(s) of the paper, methods used, and it should also include substantial explanation of how it fits with the class material (est. 2 paragraphs). Your explanation should be explicit by referencing pages in the book for related reading and points from the lecture (slide # when appropriate). The summary should be typed (12. Letter size) and single-spaced. Please, write this out and attach it to a printed copy of the article. You can also submit your work with the cited paper as a PDF. One of these articles can replace a homework that should be noted on the top of the page.
