• A research paper, worth 16 percent of the final grade, focused on an archaeological research issue or debate relating to ancient Mesoamerica or the Andes.
The paper must be a full 10 pages of text (discounting cover page, optional end-notes, and the references page). The paper will rely solely on scholarly
sources (i.e., vetted journals and books) and must include anthropological literature for bibliographic references.
