In the instructions page it says that you will need to write up a MINIMUM of 5 annotations equivalent to 1000-1200 words. HOWEVER, during this time, I will only need you to write 3 (because this will just be a draft!). The working thesis for the assignment has been changed. The direction the assignment is going to is different than what you previously wrote on the proposal. You will come to realize this after reading the new "Working thesis" which will be provided on the instructions page as well. Please read the instructions carefully and ultimately use the "SAMPLE" as your maine guide to format AND construct your annotations. Each annotation will need to be between 120-140 words AND follow all the guidelines set forth on the instructions page! Please be aware that the annotated bibliography should not reflect the previous proposal because the proposal received a "C" letter grade because it failed to show a deeper meaning and sounded more like a report. I encourage you to read the instructions, new thesis, remarks AND sample on the instructions section so you can get an idea of the direction the assignment is going. Annotations are usually about 150 words, but for this assignment, each annotation (not including the citation) must be in a minimum of 120 words. Each annotation must include at leas t one effective summative quotation and one effective evaluative quotation. The Annotated Bibliography must follow the latest MLA style of formatting and documentation. The grade for this assignment will be based on one of the annotations in your bibliogra phy + the annotation of a newspaper article you will handwrite in class the day you submit your Annotated Bibliography. As this annotated bibliography is part of the process of writing your final research paper, you will provide a tentative thesis stateme nt at the top of your paper. My new Thesis: Kuwaiti youth body building frenzy does not reflect a motivation to live up to a national model of masculinity (as an American culture) but rather a new manifestation of an old emphasis on looking imma culate. Remarks: I have already provided you with a scholarly journal called (Physical Stature and national identity). You will annotate this journal first. For the second and third annotations you can use blogs/articles/ect. But what references am I se arching for? You will be searching for articles and references that relate to the "new thesis" and relate to why Kuwaitis are suddenly getting buff? Is it a culture thing that people from Kuwait take real good care of themselves e.g. - to look pristine? Am ericans do it because it might be tied with masculinity or that it is the norm to look like a "hunk" and live the American dream. But why do people from Kuwait use steroids to look buff. Why are they pressured to do it now? Try to look for refenrences that pertain to this idea. (YOU CAN NOW SEE THE DIRECTION THE ASSIGNMENT IS GOING.)
