Our team were tasked to find the new PMS software, which will be used for the R&D research student in their industry-based projects. The PMS must assist R&D student teams towards project completion by facilitating the aspects of Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling and Closing project.

We chose Avazar and Jira as our university is finding another software to replace Microsoft Project 2016.

The research assignment must follow the following:

1. Must be under 4500 words, well-structured, and easy to navigate.
2. Must be supported by related sourced from trusted public domain resources and academic journals (APA citation).
3. Describe and compare at least one key feature/functionality across each of the process groups of Initiating, Planning, Executing, Monitoring/Controlling, and Closing project.
4. Provide comparison with Microsoft Project 2016 where suited is recommended.
5. Graph and chart images are strongly recommended
