You a leading Anti-Federalist critic of the proposed Constitution. You are to write an essay criticizing the following two compromises in the document.

 The “Great Compromise.” You are concerned that, in the Senate, states with much smaller populations will get equal representation.
 The 3/5 Clause. This provision seems to encourage the institution of slavery.

YOUR TASK: Please prepare a 3 – 4 page essay (12-point font, 1-inch margins). It’s important that you adhere to the page length requirements. Focus your writing so that your essay is neither less than 3 nor more than 4 pages of double-spaced text. Paper titles, “Works Cited” pages, and notes do not count as text.
