Imagine you are the president in 2020 and the nation is facing a series of environmental problems – global warming, increased intensity of storms and sea level rise, pollution, poisons in the environment and food supply, shrinking and compromising of park land and public space, urban crowding and traffic congestion. You call together a team of experts to advise you on what needs to be done. Through the magic of modern science you can call from the dead Henry David Thoreau, John Muir, Gilford Pinchot, Aldo Leopold, Rachel Carson, Donald Worster, and Brian Donahue, each of them has a different perspective on what should be done. In your paper discuss what each of them would suggest to you and how the others would respond to that suggestion.
