Addressing Health Disparities Among Birthing Women: Goals and Approaches from Healthy People 2030

Healthy People 2030 outlines ambitious objectives aimed at improving the health and well-being of mothers and children across the United States. Among these objectives, two specific goals stand out for their potential to address and eliminate health disparities among birthing women:

Goal 1: Increase the Proportion of Pregnant Women Who Receive Early and Adequate Prenatal Care (MICH-03)

Approach: Enhanced Access to Prenatal Care Services
One of the most critical factors influencing maternal health outcomes is access to quality prenatal care.
