Assume you are employed by a large mid-tier accounting firm that is considering expanding its financial reporting and corporate governance advisory (consulting) services. Senior partners of the accounting firm require information to help them select industries to expand consulting services. Accordingly, information is needed about the accounting policies, corporate governance arrangements and disclosure practices within each industry, including which practices dominate and the comparability of practices within and between industries.
The purposesof this project are to:
