Accounting and Business Management
For my class, my professor asked us to research two disciplines (in my case accounting and business management) and identify a unique research angle for the fact stated in the topic box above (45% of students did not demonstrate any significant improvement in learning during the first two years of college). Identify a problem,gather data/evidence and build an argument.

For example, for business management, I found a couple articles saying that community colleges (first 2 years of college) do not manage their remedial classes and the placement tests well enough which leads to students sitting in classrooms where they are bored in.

As for accounting, the professor said maybe we can focus on how the first two years of accounting is very "dry" and boring. There is a lot of memorizing and it does not seem interesting.

Both of these points of views need to prove why 45% of students do bad the first two years of college.
