Topic: a review of stakeholder engagemnet through the political platform of the Plan Nacional del Buen Vivir of Ecuador 2013-2017 (Good living National Plan 2013-2017)
in the commitment to fight climate change
Order Description
Task Description:
Participants conduct a learning project and submit a written report on their project which is the major single assessment for the course.
The learning project is an integral part of the learning process. Because there are many options for the learning project there is no specific format for the report
that all students must adhere to. Rather, you are expected to use your initiative to describe your project in the most appropriate way. However, it is crucial that you
critically consider the issues involved in your project rather than just describe the actions involved. You need to demonstrate detailed understanding of stakeholder
engagement and incorporate readings and other sources of information.
It is most important to provide your personal insights and critical thinking about the topic and not just quote readings and concepts from the learning guide without
critical argument and insight. It is also important the report be written well – clearly and concisely – and it is appropriate to write it in the first person.
Discuss your approach to your learning project with the learning facilitator for further guidance.
The following is a possible format only for your learning project report. You may choose to do it another way provided that it includes sufficient content.
Context
Some detail of the background in which you are operating as it pertains to the learning project. This situation analysis need not be extensive but should cover the
main points that make your learning project important in your work context.
Objectives
A succinct statement of what you want to achieve with your learning project. This may include your own learning objectives as well as objectives of your client group.
Work plan
The plan of action that you are going to take to make the learning project work in your own workplace or community. This should cover who, what, why, how, where and
when. There should be work to be undertaken to meet the objectives that you have set for yourself.
Theory used
A brief outline of the theory or principles from the course (including wider reading) that you have found useful for your work and which you are going to put into
practice.
Method
Describe how you went about it.
Results
Present the results from your activity.
Discussion
Reflect on the results and draw out insights into stakeholder engagement. Detail what you learnt and contrast this with principles and approaches to engagement.
Discuss what you would do differently next time. This is the main section of your report.
