A Courtship after Marriage by Jennifer S. Hirsch
Description
Hirsch’s ethnography focuses on transnational families in Mexico and the U.S. What are some ways that families bridge the gap between Mexico and the U.S.? In other words, how do these Mexican families stay connected to each other when one or more members are working in the U.S.? How do you think migration between Mexico and the U.S. affects families?
