Read Kivunja and Kuyini (2017) article and consider your philosophical underpinnings. Your belief system will impact how you go about exploring, explaining,
and investigating a research topic. Which of the scientific paradigms do you feel best characterizes your belief system at this point in your career and why?
Discuss how this paradigm informs your methodological choices and which research methodology are you considering for your dissertation study.
Also, compare your findings with two different dissertation topics (experience of individuals with obesity utilizing anti-obesity medications and the impact of
athletes’ recovery and rest on performance and injury prevention. For each, refer back to the original topic points and discuss how it relates to this topic.
