Create a PowerPoint presentation that will explain the court system to someone new to this
country. You must have at least 15 slides. You do not have to include pictures or graphics, but including them
will make your presentation more interesting. Also, slides should not be text heavy—use the Notes section to
organize your speaking outline. Think of your audience and make your deck attention-grabbing.
Here are the topics you must cover (at least one slide on each of these):

• List and explain the sources of contemporary law relating to:
• Constitutions
• Statues
• Common Law
• Administrative Law
• Treaties, and
• Executive Orders
• What courts make up the federal court system?
• Explain diversity jurisdiction and federal question jurisdiction for the Federal Court System
