We recently discussed the topic of “blockchain” in a recent class session, and students indicated this was not something they were familiar with. The purpose of this question is to give you the chance to investigate this issue and learn something new. Your goal is to write a thorough explanation of blockchain and an example of an application that you find. You need to support this with at least 3 external sources. These sources MUST be articles from the popular press (such as the Wall Street Journal, business periodicals, etc.) or academic articles you can find via the library. I will not give credit for sources that are simply websites since I want you to dig deeper in this inquiry.
