Write a 2 to 4 page paper which includes the following:
Search for a law or code that has influenced the counseling profession and/or its code of ethics. Consider including keywords such as laws and counseling, duty to warn, duty to protect, end of life decisions, abortion, mandated reporting, etc.
Select one and reflect on its impact on the counseling profession. In your paper, include a brief background on the law, case, or code. Identify how it relates to counseling or how it has influenced the field.
Use APA style. Include a title page, running head, headings, and a references page. You do not need an abstract, but you will want to include a conclusion. The title page and references page do not count in the page total. The font should be 12 point, Times New Roman with 1-inch margins, double-spaced.
