Emerson has a style of writing that can be difficult for some students, and his essays often contain numerous references to historical figures, philosophers, poets, and religious leaders.
1.After reading the essay, select two passages that interest or inspire you.
2.Write an essay of 250 words (one page, double-spaced) in response to Emerson’s essay, “Self-Reliance.”
