Anna is a 35-year old mother of two teenage girls, Olivia -15years and Jane -13 years, from a previous marriage. Anna is currently married to Joel who is 30
years old. Joel works hard to provide for the household and also seeks to uphold some discipline over Olivia and Jane by establishing rules about house
chores and curfew. Joel frequently do have confrontations with Olivia and Jane over non-compliance with house rules, which sometimes turns physical
especially between Joel and Olivia.
Anna came to see you, the social worker, and reports having continuous sleepless nights, feels sad, and is concern about “losing” her husband or her
children.
