Prior to beginning work on this discussion, watch the Week 3 Forum video (Links to an external site.), and
review Chapter 6 of your course text. In this discussion forum, describe one social or human rights movement
(e.g., #MeToo, #MarchforOurLives, Black Lives Matter, International Women’s March, Arab Spring) that has
used Twitter to promote its cause or to encourage activism or protest. You should explain how these
movements relate to globalization and human rights, and how they use technology to advance their cause.
This summary should be a minimum of 250 words and adequately address the topic.
